It COULD be done as a tribute to Jock Stein the Scotland Manager....... . There's a tribute to Jock Stein the Scotland Manager tonight at Hampden. One minute of applause ahead of tonight's match against Liechtenstein. I think it's pretty shocking that the SFA have given in to Celtic and are holding a minutes applause instead of the traditional silence. I wouldn't be clapping my hands if I were there, no chance. Applause is for marking joyeous occasions, not the anniversary of death or deaths. IMO the fuss is about bringing up a very raw subject for a number of innocent victims and dragging them emotionally and mentally through it all again... all for the sake of getting one over on the Tims.
