Miller in pay cut shock!!

Recommended Posts

Still, 3 days left to get rid of him and McCulloch and I will be a happy bear, as unlikely as that is as I dont see any other clubs being that silly.

Ridiculous statement when Velicka is still on the books.

Were it not for big Jig's cracking through ball and Miller's finish we would have finished with a draw yesterday.

From where I was sitting the pass for Miller was excellent. Seconds earlier Jog was chasing every ball and closed down the St Johnstone players who eventually had to pass it back to the GK who in turn had to punt it up the park because Jig had chased him down too. We won the ball back, Jig played a cracking through ball to Miller who outmuscled a defender and slotted it home! Jig reminded me of Barry Ferguson yesterday. He chased down everything in midfield.

You just can't please some people Craig.

Everyone will have their favourites obviously. But McCulloch yesterday put in a fair shift, always willing to take the ball, always willing to do the dirty work. What frustrates me is that some will say "Davis is still recovering from his virus" at the same time as saying "McCulloch was pish" - and yet McCulloch has just recovered from a virus too.

It is double standards, no doubt about it.

I will say it again - of our 2 central midfielders yesterday, McCulloch was the better of the two.

I would prefer Edu in there to be honest... BUT... his performance at Easter Road last week absolutely merited being dropped. McCulloch did enough yesterday to stay in the side for our next game.

If that was the yardstick then fair enough. It's not like i'd want Edu to play every week if he didn't merit it. But everyone knows that regardless of how McCulloch plays, he's always going to play the next game. And not only that, he's going to be our captain once Weir jacks it in

I agree - I hate the idea of ANY player retaining their place if not performing.

As it stands, Davis should be closer to being dropped than McCulloch is after yesterday's performances - but we know Davis WONT be dropped under any circumstances.

Davis would be the only player i'd view as undroppable. Even on a bad day, he'd still contribute more than some players and could still produce one moment of magic. McCulloch hasn't earned the right to be seen in such a way

Disagree. NO player should be undroppable. If you arent performing you should be dropped. Playing whilst under-performing breeds complacency.

Out of interest, who are the senior players in our squad who ARE droppable?

They all should be, outwith Davis who i believe is too good to be playing in Scotland anyway and we are very lucky to have. However, in reality, Walter has always been very loyal to his favourites

Super Ally, it's bizarre how you keep 'un-usefuling' my posts about McCulloch being undroppable, yet you don't actually say anything to the contrary. So it's un-useful because i'm telling the truth?

Davis was poor on saturday and he's not too good for scottish football, don't know where you get that from!!

is boogie too good for the SPL as well cause he is on par with Davis , as is McGregor IMO.....
