Milner (finally) Signs for Man City.

Stephen Ireland goes the other way. Aston Villa have got a great deal out of this. Ireland, who I think is a fantastic player and £20m+. Pity the new Villa manager won't be seeing any of the money.

What saga has been longest - the Jelavic one or the Milner one? Hmmmmm....

It almost beggars belief that in the last year City have gotten rid of Dunne, Ireland, and Bellamy for a combined fee of £5 million, whilst paying £40 million for James Milner and Joleon Lescott

Agreed, city have went backwards a little bit. Eriksson and Hughes were taking it slowly and building a team aswell as a squad, now they have just went mental and have a mass squad of new individuals.

Stephen Ireland was their best player during 08/09 and id say bellamy was their best player last season. Bellamys 2 goals in the 4-3 game with Man U last season spoke for themselves, 1 absolute screamer and 1 terrific solo which made Ferdinand look like a statue.

Villa have got a good deal out of this.

Pressure is on Mancini to gel them!
