CraigRFC 0
Hopefully this now means the end of Lafferty and Naismith on the wing. Just hope that Fleck gets a look in as an attacking midfielder. If Jelavic comes, then Velicka and Lafferty would be surplus to requirements. Think that is a bit unfair on Lafferty tbh He has looked very promising in pre-season and I think he was probably our best player at the weekend. One thing it will do is give our team a kick up the back side because there is now competition for places if these targets come to fruition.

craig 5,199
I think if there was any chance of Fleck getting a look in anyhwere he'd have played at the weekend when we were so short. Really ? You would have played Fleck with a torn hamstring ? He is out for 6 weeks......

Id still keep Lafferty, its going to be a long season and Miller wont play 45 games in 4 competitions. Lafferty could be the good option upfront on his own if we go 4-5-1 in CL. But Weiss and jelavic give us a lot more options. But I still think we are light in the centre of midfield. We could possibly be done with a full back but we do have options of swapping players about with Broadfoot, Whittaker and Bougherra being able to play RB and Papac and Whittaker at LB.
craig 5,199
Whilst not being a midfielder by trade, Whittaker is actually very effective there. He seems to know his way to goal and 10 a season isnt too bad.

Gazza_8 233
Aw man, I'm full of optimism. Hopefully Weiss doesn't change his mind en route to Ibrox and head off to the east instead.
Tannochsidebear 2,435
Sounds to be the sort of pedigree loan signing we need, for a position we badly need. A full internationalist who did well at the WC, and should bring some much needed pace to the team. However, until I get that official Rangers text..............
Yieldshields loyal 0
Weiss would a crackin' signing. Pacey and skillful, exactly what we need. Totally agree, remember when City signed him, they said he was his countries next big talent, from a brief watch on Youtube, he looks the part - a guy that runs at teams, we've been missing this for years.
