andy steel 0
He's the kind of player I thought we would be in for come January, since I think he's in the last year of a contract and has an obvious Ibrox connection. Not the finished article by a long way for sure, but a talented and versatile player just the same. Seeing as how we're not, apparently, getting anyone else in at the moment, and seeing as how the player is doing alrightish at a fairly ordinary European level, I wonder if we should tempt Old Father Time with a 100, 200k offer? The squad is desperately thin.
Zappa 0
He signed a new contract at Firpark in June Andy. 3 year deal, so given his potential, M'well would be looking for decent money. For them to even consider an offer it would probably need to be over a million.

Guest Guivarc'h
Would this really be up for debate if his father wasn't a Rangers legend? He was released by Reading just 12 months ago ffs

Gazza_8 233
Craig Brown was on Talksport yesterday morning and was talking about him. Our midfield would need to be in a dire state for s even to consider him. Apart from that FK against us, what else has he done? Has anyone ever noticed or mentioned anything about his performances for Motherwell? As Guivarc'h said, if his dad never played for us he'd just be another nobody.
Zappa 0
You don't get to sign for Reading unless you're pretty damn good & just because they didn't want to keep him doesn't mean he's no good. We've let go or sold plenty of really good young players ourselves. Also don't think it's right to say about the lad that he'd be a nobody if his dad hadn't played for us. He's playing first team premier league football and just signed a 3 year deal at the age of 20 (or whatever it is) and I doubt very much that his dad swayed the new deal for him with M'well.

Not gonna argue with you about it m8, but it depends on your definition of mediocre! They're a solid side that could break through to the EPL with just one good season like Blackpool and other lower league sides have done.

Aye but Tom Hately wont be part of that team that breaks through. What did they do when he was at Reading ? Nothing ?
