Rangers Football Club 0
BOSS reiterates there are no plans to sell Bougherra More... WALTER SMITH is fully expecting Madjid Bougherra to report at Murray Park and travel with the squad to Australia for the pre-season training trip. There has been constant speculation in the media that Bougherra is on the move with a variety of locations mentioned. However, there have been no offers for the Algerian defender and Smith has reiterated that there is no desire to sell. Speaking in an exclusive interview to be broadcast on RangersTV.tv on Friday he said:"Madjid will return to Murray Park just before we leave for Australia and so he will travel with us. "We have made it quite clear to everyone that given the size of our group we don't want to sell anyone. "In Madjid's case I keep reading in newspapers that he is going to leave but he doesn't say that when he is here so we don't really know what sort of situation we are going to get "He has been a good player for us. He didn't play as often last season as we would have hoped but hopefully he will come back fully fit after his efforts in the World Cup." Bougherra has been given three weeks off following Algeria's elimination from the tournament and Maurice Edu is in the same situation. Smith added: "In Maurice's case that means he will meet up with the squad in Australia by travelling directly from America." Hope he has his passport... Zappa 0
'No plans to sell' doesn't mean we won't sell though... A wee bit of reverse psychology?
calscot 0
Sounds a bit naive of Walter - expecting Boogie back on time? What's the chances?
Guest Flying Hippo
I'd be astounded if Bougherra goes on the pre season tour

Zappa 0
3 possessed geese on Air-Algerie flight 666 to London threatened the pilots with eternal damnation if they didn't serve up a round of Tequila Sunrises and divert the plane to Accapulco. Under duress from the mad geese and fear for Madjid and the other traveling passenger (a hot chick traveling with Madjid), the pilots had no option but to oblige and divert the plane. Madjid was horribly subjected to a stopover in Barcelona and another in Miami as the hijacking geese partied on the refueling plane holding the pilots hostage with swizzle sticks and umbrellas from their Tequilas. Madjid managed to escape in Mexico and catch a flight to Australia just in time to go out for a wee party with the team before flying home....

maineflyer 0
OK I'll be more specific, I don't think he will play for Rangers again in a competitive game, regardless of what newspapers are writing, which I haven't read.
