rbr 1,266
On the last day of the EPL season this year , from all the games with a starting total of 220 players only 32 were English and their clubs are about to embark on yet another transfer window plunder into the foreign market with Spurs leading the way with a £28 million double swoop for Palermo's Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani , Spurs have denied this bid but admitted talks had taken place . Guest Flying Hippo
English young players are taught to remove all flair and expression from their game. This is the main reason why the national team is shite.

You cant show much flair or be that expressive when your sitting on your arse on a bench all game
Gribz 919
Last nights game made me wonder if the EPL is as good as its made out to be. Ronaldo cruised that league for 3 seasons yet he is another who didnt show up at the world cup. Good interview from Roy Keane on BBC website saying he thinks Capello is brilliant. It is likely to be tongue in cheek but he was right in saying the players get away with murder and hardly any of them had a good season. He said James, Johnson, Terry, Upson, Barry, Gerrard and Heskey all didnt have good seasons. A Cole had just came back from injury. He said only Milner and Rooney had good seasons so the myth about these players doing well week in week out is nonsense.
