craig 5,199
Ian, Wenger rating him isnt a rumour - I distinctly remember seeing a direct quote from Wenger
Gazza_8 233
I was going to say that he played well but never really got into top gear. I must be wrong though if the media are raving about him. DOn't get me wrong, I definately don't think he was average, but I did think there were better Algerian players out there. Well done though, that was a fantastic performance for Boogie and Algeria. You just wonder when it clicked for Boogie. He played for shite and average teams before he joined us.

I do believe in managers being able to get the best out of certain players and this could be the reason plus moving to a big club and having to perform can also make you up your game, for instance I believe the improvement in Kenny Millers game is down to the manager and coaches. Or his game has simply improved naturally:) Is it true that Bougherra has turned down a 2 year extension from Rangers?, if it is true then we should get as much money for him ASAP so we can try and get in a replacement.
ian1964 10,781
After Bougherras' performance against '' the potential WC winners '' I can see a wee bit of a bidding war starting, especially if he puts in another good performance, this is where Rangers Fc will be tested on how much we should be willing to accept. He still has 2 years left on his contract, he says he is happy at Rangers, but also he wants to play in the EPL, is it true that he refused to sign a 2 year contract extension and because of this WS has sanctioned his sale ?. How much should we expect to get, if/when he is sold?.
Gribz 970
I was thinking to myself last night he couldnt be more in the shop window playing against england and he had a good game. Like Gav I didnt think he was excellent but fair enough if he is getting raved about. I wonder if he felt himself that this was a chance to get himself a big move!! But if he is to leave (which many have said he is) then to add on a few million for us is fine.
ian1964 10,781
MADJID BOUGHERRA admits he is flattered by reports linking him with Arsenal. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger revealed he is a fan of the Algerian centre-back, who faced England last night. And that led to stories he could be set to make a £4million swoop. Rangers ace Bougherra said: "Wenger found a few kinds words for me. It's given me a big boost." Gribz 970
4 million??? Eff off!!:box: 4 million plus a few promising youngsters maybe! Or 8 million plus Kieron Gibbs and a striker on loan for a season.
ian1964 10,781
I'd rather keep him until his contract runs out than sell him for £4m
