If Ally is to be manager next season [i wonder whether new owners will change the situation]. Surely he must have some say on the players coming and going this season.

I'd have thought he'd have Walter's ear on the transfers even if it hadn't been announced that he'll take over from Walter.

Ally said in recent days that he's going to not only be attending games out in South Africa, but also going to training camps to watch training & players, so he'll definitely be doing some scouting.
