ian1964 10,777
very good. Seriously though, Harewood isn't going to get goals. His record is poor Aye,I think we would all like to see pacy wide men being targeted as a priority
Gribz 954
Harewood was decent 4 or 5 years ago. I remember watching him a lot for West Ham when he played upfront with Sheringham and they did well. He is a work horse but not a goal scorer. He is similar to Heskey. Id have Miller and Lafferty ahead of him though.

gavin3084 0
I would rather have marlon dingle than marlon harewood really can't see him doing a job for us, the phrase lump of wood springs to mind!
metlika 0
We also seem to be going for 30 year olds that isn't good business sense either. However our manager seems to like them...
stewarty 2,060
We also seem to be going for 30 year olds that isn't good business sense either. However our manager seems to like them... As a general point, and not specific to Harewood per se, I can understand the need to look for experienced pros given the number of young players we are likely to see starting games regularly this season given the lack of depth in the squad.
True_Ger_1872 2
It seems that we have offered Harewood a 2 year deal - not sure iof this is true though! I presonally dont buy into this way of thinking - but i think we should perhaps get David Healy! He is a similar calibre of player, at club level, as Harewood but would love to play for us and imagine the merchandising money we could get for him! We would surely sell thousands of shirts with Healy on the back! In these tight financial times - Rangers need to be thinking along these lines and trying to make the most of these markets.

But the vast majority of our merchandising was sold off to JJB - they would get the prime benefit of additional sales, not the club
