craig 5,199
Funny i just can't get a picture in my head of Boyd in a tim top. BUT I do think if he failed in England and had the choice between the tims and Kilmarnock he would be wearing the green and grey. But that is an unrealistic likely scenario pete. IF Boyd failed in England the chances that we wouldnt want him back are slim - this obviously depends on our managerial situation at the time but there is a very, very decent chance we would want him back.... for his goals alone. Maybe it is me but I still can't see him playing for Celtic. Perhaps I just live in hope but I cant see it.

Craig you are a professional so you should know that when push comes to shove then you do what is the best option for you. No i do not see him choosing Celtic over rangers unless the money was millions of a difference but i think he is prof enough to play for them if it was his best option.

Not unless he absolutely HAD to move back to Scotland. Even if he failed with whomever he signed with there would be plenty of English teams willing to pay him somewhat handsomely - enough to allow him to refuse any advances of Celtic. Never say never in football I guess, but Boyd is one of the first players at Rangers that I simply couldnt see playing for them.
