Norris Cole 0
Best of luck to a true Bear. Thanks for the memories.
Guest Flying Hippo
I'm no fan of Naismith, to say the least, but are we saying Smith deliberately weakened the team? He saw Novo as a 'supersub' who could get joy out of a tiring defence around the 70 minute mark Fair enough, but in my opinion he could've offered so much more than this. Did his 25 goals in the Helicopter Sunday season all come after the 70 minute mark? I also believe Walter saw him as too unpredictable to fit into his preferred team of hard workers, hence why the bland and, to be perfectly frank, boring as hell Naismith got picked before him
Zappa 0
FH: Novo didn't always shine when he was given a start. He had some less than encouraging games tbh. Then, when he did come onto a game and play well in December, he unfortunately got an injury that kept him out for a run of games... remember? Just saying he was a bit unlucky this season as well given that when he started to shine in Dec', he got injured. Had he not got injured he might well have continued his run of starts.
pete 2,499
Nacho just lacked composure. If he had taken the chances he fluffed because he had no composure then he may have been up beside Boyd.

Naismith was less than encouraging in 90% of his games yet was never dropped when fit! I don't have a vendetta against the lad, i just don't rate him whatsoever lol
redford 0
At the risk of seeming anti-Nacho, ( I am not) I have to ask why he didn't accept the one year deal on offer and subsequently relied on his abilities to get the other year he wanted.

He made that clear earlier. Sick of being a 'supersub' and missing out on all the big games He was also allegedly asked to take a paycut to stay here, which is frankly disgusting if true

He got a start up front against the best team we played all season - Sevilla & gave their defense a tough time. He didn't score, but created chances & should have had a penalty.
