Danny 0
Like so many of our players and staff. This uncertainty is incredibly concerning. Though I would be happy enough if Weir called it a day. 40 years old for God's sake? We'll get raped in the CL.
Guest Flying Hippo
I'd still rather 40 year old David Weir in the CL than 28 year old Andy Webster who must be the happiest man in our entire squad right now, given he's basically the only one with no real uncertainty over his future. He's about to go from 5th choice to 1st choice

Super_Ally 0
This being 28 year old Andy Webster who's regarded as the best defender in the SPL outwith Bougherra and Weir? My only concern with Webster is his injury record, not his ability. And he's not suffered much this year in that respect so I'll be happy to have him back.
Guest Flying Hippo
This being 28 year old Andy Webster who's regarded as the best defender in the SPL outwith Bougherra and Weir? And we're regarded as the best team in the SPL yet were still humped 4-1 on our own patch by a team of Romanian minnows whose manager quickly resigned to take over at a Russian second division club Webster isn't in the same league as Weir or Bougherra. It's scary to think of the reliance we may have on him next season
craig 5,199
This being 28 year old Andy Webster who's regarded as the best defender in the SPL outwith Bougherra and Weir? So you would rather Webster who is not as good as Weir (by your own terminology above) that Weir ? You are saying that in Scotland the best CB's are : 1. Bougherra 2. Weir 3. Webster And you want to get rid of Weir to replace him with Webster ? And given we could evry well lose Bougherra we would be left with, probably, Webster and AN Other (Broadfoot or McCulloch most likely). I know I would still prefer Weir.
Guest Flying Hippo
I think 3rd best CB in Scotland is also incredibly generous to Webster I'd take Wilson, Zaliukas, Goncalves, and Bamba before him. I have no doubts that someone as maligned as Kirk Broadfoot or Karl Svensson could look a standout at Dundee Utd
maineflyer 0
Must be about time for the call to go out to the Old Hero who, like Arthur, will rise and charge down the M8 to our rescue.
