McGhee fears for future

Recommended Posts

Calderwood had loads of top 6 finishes and Mcghee probably won't get one. Plus Calderwood did quite well in Europe, Mcghee, well haha.

Aberdeen are still living in the past and think they are a top side, they average at best but some how always perform against us at their ground.

What I hear from the Aberdeen fans its Calderwood's side and its like the tims with Mowbray and Strachan.

Sacked Calderwood apparently because of cup results against wee teams. McGhee has got a worse league record and an equally poor cup record. :D

As would I, the sheep would struggle to live it down. They were lucky to escape 10 years back as well.

Aye I remember that mate. The JT's had the chance to put them down and failed. Thistle lost to them in a play off or something didn't they?

They finished last iirc but cause the league was expanded and I don't think Brockville was very good they stayed up.

As the SPL was being expanded to 12 teams, the bottom finishing side were to face the second and third finishing sides from the first division, in a three team play-off. However, due to Falkirk's stadium not meeting SPL requirements, Aberdeen remained in the SPL and Dunfermline were promoted automatically from second position.
