calscot 0
The first St Johnstone goal was just one of those strikes that goes so perfectly there is no way to stop it. The guy could try it a thousand times again and he wouldn't score. It's a great strike but also a fortunate one. The game did remind me of Unirea, a load of freak goals. Unirea were probably marginally better than us in the first game and so probably deserved to win but by no more than one goal. In the second game we played them off the park, easily deserved to win by a few goals and lost a stupid last minute strike for the draw. It's how football sometimes goes. However the thing is how people spin it. You expect the Tims to talk like they were a different league to us, but the thing that got me was the really weird way so many people on here seem to have put more negative spin on it than anyone. I can imagine it would have happened again after the St Johnstone game had we not been cantering to the SPL title...
Zappa 0
McGregor deserves some credit for this season because he's made a lot of great saves that to an extent have helped us to be where we are now. I'd prefer if he didn't have the odd bad game, but to expect that is totally unrealistic. The stats for the season so far show that we've conceded the least number of goals at home and by far the least number of goals away from home & McGregor should get some credit for contributing to that record.
Guest imbran
If we have to bring in another keeper then Cerny would be a good choice. Having said that, Tuffey would be cheaper and maybe has the potential to be as good. I know we've been living in the poorhouse for a couple of years now, but it sometimes gets frustrating when a fee of £1.5 - 2m is seen to be out of our league
Totti 0
Also, FWIW, the Sheridan goal was included as an option for SKy Sports goal of the week competition. Now that does not absolve the keeper of blame, but if it was due to poor goalkeeping would they really have it as a potential goal of the week. Also bearing in mind the fact that Sky rarely bother themselves with what is going on up here. A great goal can still involve bad goalkeeping. I get the picture, you back everyone in the team until the end etc. Tone it down a bit though. Your the resident apologist on here.
Frankie 8,529
There are no apologists for anything on here. People have their opinions and while we may all differ on occasion, we should do so respectfully.

But it generally gets less acclaim if it does. I'm sorry my support for my team seems to offend you so much.

Should someone tone down their positivism because it doesnt fit in with your opinion ? Likewise, should you have to tone down any negativity because it doesnt fit in with S_A's positive outlook ? BOTH of you are entitled to your opinion.
