If the ref thought it was a sending off the first time, he'll not change his mind with the replay. It was definite violent conduct even if it was only handbags. It's the kind of stuff that FIFA want out of the game. Brown lost the heid and while another ref may only have yellow carded him he has no real complaint. the only thing the ref may regret is not booking Lafferty, and maybe sending him off for his last Beckamesque kick.
