SFA and ****s in Referee Discussion

Recommended Posts

It looked like Lafferty thought about feigning a head-knock then changed his mind for some reason. Should have been a booking for both imo.

Bougherra was lucky to still be on by the end.

I think they were unlucky not to get a pen, but its not clear even from the replay if Bougherra caught him or he tripped himself up. Either way, if the ref was unsure, he's hardly going to give it after the shit storm Celtic whipped up.

Challenge on Boyd could have been a straight red, but there won't be any mention of that one tomorrow.

If there really was a great conspiracy against them, why was Edu's first half goal disallowed? Its like all great conspiracy theories, the people spreading them ignore many of the facts and only concentrate on things which support their argument.

I agree with all above. Yellow for both and Boogie should have gone.

To be honest though i don't really give a shit Celtic drowned in their own cesspit of venom.

They never turned up particularly in the second half. Was McGeady playing?

Can see why a red was given for Brown. Butted his head towards Lafferty's chest and even if you don't make contact you can get sent off for the aggressive act. Examples of this in England such as Lee Hendrie for Villa.

I thought we should have had a penalty just before our disallowed goal. The Celtic player's feet were so high that Miller put his hands up instinctively to protect his face and the ball THEN hit his hand.

It was either a penalty or a goal.

Bougherra should never have been booked for his first challenge so I don't see why he should have been sent off.
