Zappa 0
I can't help feeling the importance of this is being underplayed here. There is no way McDonald can now referee Sunday's game without being pre-disposed against Rangers. Anyone who thinks celtic have simply orchestrated this on a "hope for the best" basis doesn't understand the grand art of manipulation. I'll say it again, I do not believe we will be allowed to win this game. . McDonald has a responsibility to referee the game fairly & all this does is put pressure on him & the other officials to do exactly that - referee the game fairly. I do like my conspiracies MF, but to say that we won't be allowed to win the game is a bit presumptuous to say the least. Every Rangers fan will secretly be feeling as you are though - that something is going on here. It's not good. At the end of the day though, who's going to do something about it?

It's not that we wont be allowed to win the game, it's that it is more than likely less of the contentious decisions will go our way whether that is subconscious or not. To deny that would be churlish imo.

Anyway, you're making out as if that's FACT and 'the way it will be' S_A, but in actual fact nobody knows how it will play out until the final whistle blows on Sunday!!
Super_Ally 0
It's not paranoia mate. It's normal human reaction. He knows he's going to get a shit storm of trouble if he gives a decision against them, therefore his natural reaction (made in a split second without time to second guess, or reconsider) will be to favour them. And I clearly used the word subconscious. So i'm not being paranoid about anything. I'm just making a reasonable assumption based on simple human psychology.

And you might be right mate, but while they're sorting out their excuses for losing the game and being 10 (possibly 13) points behind in the league, we shouldn't be getting involved IMO. We don't need excuses. We are the Champions & the best team in the SPL.
stewarty 2,085
I'm sure Dougie McDonald believes that he will not be affected by all this and that'll do for me. I just hope that no-one from Rangers makes any statement on the matter other than to say something along the lines of... "that's a matter for Celtic and the SFA". That way, when we hammer them out of sight on Sunday, Walter can get tore into them after the game.
ian1964 10,826
You have to laugh at these cretins concern for '' sporting integrity '',they have very short memories as you only need to go back to our European run that took us to the final when they protested against extending the league due to them having booked a tour of Japan,or wherever it was, which they never went to. MOPE chunts should just take their tricolour flags and '' political songs '' and GO HOME
