Guest Mac
I'd go with Big Kirk at RB, Lafferty at LM with Lee and Thommo in the middle. Feel sorry for Whittaker as he's really good on the ball but he could certainly play a part in the game by coming on in the second half once the game opens up a bit. What team do you think they'll come out with, how many of their Blue Chip (loan) signings will they field lol
Super_Ally 0
http://www.bettingzone.co.uk/football/betting/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=betting/10/02/25/manual_132141.html Bookies don't seem to fancy a Celtic win. Found the following paragraphs interesting: My gut reaction says Rangers won't lose. Walter Smith is a master when it comes to Glasgow derbies and a win on Sunday would see him equal Jock Stein and Scot Symon's total of 26 victories in these games - still some way off the record of 35 held by Bill Struth though. Since returning to Ibrox in January 2007, Smith has won seven of the 12 league games against Celtic, with a win and a draw so far this season against Mowbray.
Gribz 972
http://www.bettingzone.co.uk/football/betting/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=betting/10/02/25/manual_132141.html Bookies don't seem to fancy a Celtic win. Yip, 2/1 with most bookies and 6/5 Gers. 11/4 Rangers - Half time / full time is a bet I'll be putting on plus Miller at 5/1 to get the first goal. 30/1 Rangers to win 2-0 with Miller scoring first.

Guest enigmablue
That's the team i expect us to play but it's so ultra-negative. If we went behind, we'd be phucked, basically. I think you could be right with this squad. For me weir and papac coming back from his injury have been our weak links. Stick Whittaker on the left and Davis on the right to assist if Celtic go 4-2-4. Davis and Whittaker have both shown they can chuck in a goal or two to assist the forwards and don't mind running from a little deeper. The problem then is when McCulloch and Thomson sit too deep it sucks in the two wide mids and then the forwards drop too far back to make them ineffective. Mcgregor's long punts then go nowhere fast. As much as we'll talk about Boyd, Miller, Davis, Boughie being our key men i think our real success this sunday lies with how Weir, McCulloch and Thomson play. Not the fashionable choices but these should be our leaders on the park that left the consistent performers of the season have time to bring home the goods. How long to go now?
