OnlyOneAmoruso 0
Of that I'd say theres not much wrong. Perhaps McCormack in place of Iwelumo and possibly Wilson for Kenneth?
Bluedell 5,788
Reports are that Levein contacted Smith regarding McGregor and Smith felt his return should be postponed. Good decision. Possible team that Levein may pick. Gordon Hutton Berra Caldwell Whittaker Robson Fletcher Brown McFadden Boyd Miller
Guest Bonkle Bear
It will be interesting to see who he goes with up front. Fletcher appears to be doing really well for Burnley but obviously Boyd and Miller playing together most weeks would be a huge advantage.
Gazza_8 233
National coach Craig Levein has named his 24-man squad for the upcoming International Challenge match against the Czech Republic. Goalkeepers Neil Alexander (Rangers) Craig Gordon (Sunderland) David Marshall (Cardiff City) Defenders Alan Hutton (Tottenham Hotspur)* Christophe Berra (Wolverhampton W.) Gary Caldwell (Wigan Athletic) Paul Dixon (Dundee United) Garry Kenneth (Dundee United) Lee Wallace (Heart of Midlothian) Andy Webster (Rangers)** Steven Whittaker (Rangers) Midfield Charlie Adam (Blackpool) Scott Brown (Celtic) Graham Dorrans (West Bromwich Albion) Darren Fletcher (Manchester United) Paul Hartley (Bristol City) Lee McCulloch (Rangers) James McFadden (Birmingham City) Barry Robson (Middlesbrough) Kevin Thomson (Rangers) Forwards Kris Boyd (Rangers) Steven Fletcher (Burnley) Chris Iwelumo (Wolverhampton W.)*** Kenny Miller (Rangers) * On loan to Sunderland ** On loan to Dundee United *** On loan to Bristol City
OnlyOneAmoruso 0
Can't disagree too much there Bluedell. I'd make the case for Dixon over Whittaker as we'll be better balanced and Dixon has excellent delivery. Maybe Brown and Robson to switch places as well (with perhaps Thomson/McCulloch at the expense of Robson) There's a decent team there, thats for sure.

I figure Fletcher can play with either of them which gives a decent option off the bench.

Gribz 972
If McGregor and Ferguson were added to that squad then it would be the strongest looking squad for a few years. Id probably go with: _________________Gordon_______________ Hutton______Berra_______Caldwell___Whittaker Brown______Fletcher____McCulloch___McFadden _____________Boyd_______Miller____________ Although Fletcher's name is only there because he plays for Man Utd. His Scotland form hasnt been good for a while and with Adam playing well I was tempted to include him.
