More lafferty bad publicity.

Wabash has had a real hatred for Lafferty for as long as I can remember. Not a word of praise for him for the few games he played well recently, yet when he gets a chance to attack him he takes it.

 

It's personal with him, however much he pretends he wants to see Lafferty play well and prove him wrong.

 

I haven't responded to Wabash's posts on Lafferty for the good reason I've really no interest in his opinion, personal or not.

And yet the Allan McGregor thread doesn't even register an opinion from you, far less any condemnation.

 

If this wasn't personal, you'd have cited an opinion on both.

I would direct you to the 3rd post on the Greegs thread and there after, I was always taught not to opine until one knows the facts or most of them, the fact that you are unable to decide whither lafferty is the new Pele or Fatima Whitbread says more about your judgement than anything I can say, you obviously are not aware of previous high standards. Neither Waddell, Symon nor Wallace would have tolerated what passes at Ibrox these days for discipline.

If Lafferty was a free transfer he'd be a bad signing. At near �£4m, he is an atrocious one.

 

Steven Whittaker is better in the final third and he's a bloody fullback by trade.

 

Yes Lafferty is yet another Rangers striker/forward to fall victim to getting shunted out of position more often than not but he doesn't even get the basics right. He's shown nothing in his entire club career to ever suggest he's got much talent. We seem to have bought him off the back of a few international performances. I also couldn't care who he supports or where he's from. Quality is what matters.

The main people to blame for lafferty being a Rangers player are those who scouted him and those who signed him for that kind of money.........

This is utter nonsense that you're talking. Lafferty is an individual, a person. Multi-million pound companies pay their bills when they deem it necessary. It might not be popular with the people they owe money to, but it's the way it is.

 

As for the man as a player, well I've no doubt that it was a bad buy, but I'm still willing to let him show why he was worth that sort of money.

No, once again you've turned it into a slag off a Rangers player fest.

 

tbh, I find your stance not befitting of the conduct of genuine Rangers fans - what you're saying sounds extremely like the sort of insults tims would chuck at our players.

 

I would never dip so low as to call any Rangers fan anything other than a good fan. But they have to behave like one and I can't think of any other Rangers fan who outright refuses to say a good word about, or support, one of our players.
