As i said in the other thread, i'm not convinced it's a massive loss. Boyd was anonymous for the majority of today's game and with Lafferty looking very good after he came on, and Novo a serial Timslayer, i'm not particularly worried

IIRC you only appeal straight reds for non-violent conduct.

OF game or not, WS should have a word with him or fine him for that booking, just f*cking stupid and totally needless.

That doesn't make sense. If he was booked and has crossed the threshold, he misses the game. Unless the number of points each booking attacts depends on the offence but I haven't heard anything like that before, for bookings at least.

Apparently only a 2 point yellow card, whereas a 3 point yellow would have meant he missed the OF game because of his discipline tally.

Its points, violent conduct is 3 points and obstruction is 2 points.

I'm asking because the commentator kept saying "If Boyd misses the OF game".

 

I don't think Boyd will play the OF game anyway.
