Frankie 8,674
Would like to have kept him for another year but I accept his reasons for wanting to leave.
nokiss 0
Pity, he really was an excellent prospect before his horrific injury problems. Good luck to him, wherever he ends up.

rbr 1,270
I really feel sorry for Smith but he must look at other young players who have done really well in the championship , plus let's not forget he can trouser all the money
alexscottislegend 2,385
Could open the way for Greg Wylde to come in to the squad and develop like Wilson and Fleck.
Dr Preston Burke 0
Looked a hell of a prospect in 2006 but just hasn't happened for him since his return and he has made no impression in any match he's played in since then. I can see Smudger ending up with his pals at Cardiff
Zappa 0
I'm a bit surprised that nobody here has focused on the fact that the club have offered a contract extension that includes a pay increase, which pretty much goes against some of what we've been hearing regarding new contracts and extensions being blocked. This also signals to me that it's not outwith the realms of possibility that the club expect to lose both Weir and Bougherra in the summer.
Dr Preston Burke 0
I think Weir will stay, so long as he wants to keep playing. If you can play in the SPL at 39, you can play in it at 40
