Frankie 8,890
Rangers move into final of the League Cup with comfortable victory at snowy Hampden. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=206:rangers-2-0-st-johnstone-player-ratings-and-mom-poll&catid=35:analysis&Itemid=67 :sd: again for me but honourable mention for :lm: who did a lot of the spadework to ensure victory.
ian1964 10,870
Yep, Davis for me again,he was all over the place making things happen. I'm delighted with his form as I have been one of his biggest critics in the past,we all knew he was a good player but I was always disappointed with his over all contribution in most games,he now seems to have sorted that out and is leading by example.

Spot on. He has upped his game during the last couple of months, which is a major reason as to why we are where we are.
metlika 0
Yep, Davis for me looked a class above everyone else, some nice touches and passes during the game and added another goal to his tally.
johnnyk 158
Agree with Frankie about Davis and McCulloch who compliment each other well, wish Thommo would step up now!!
Danny 0
My ratings: Alexander: 5 Didn't have to do much but was shaky with much of what he did do. Whittaker: 6 Solid enough, seemed a bit more resolute at the back than usual. Weir: 6 Decent organisation but was fortunate not to score an OG Wilson: 6 Largely untested but did his job well enough. Smith: 6 His usual performance; quiet and unimposing but didn't do much wrong. Fleck: 7 His most promising night for some time - showed a lot of willingness to get stuck in and his mazy dribble near the end was impressive. Davis: 8 Excellent night's work for the best player in the side currently. Working constantly, passing, moving, and capped it all with a goal. McCulloch: 8 Doesn't get enough credit for the work he does, and will always be viewed as unglamorous, but his contribution is as important to Davis. Thomson: 6 Marginally improved, slightly more involved in the engine room but still not giving enough and his yellow card was stupid. Lafferty: 4 Not even a shadow of the player I saw glimpses of last year. Absolutely abysmal. Novo: 6 An above average night - not terrific from him but not awful either - maybe should have scored but will always be a tireless worker.
Gazza_8 233
Easy choice this time around - Davis. He's head and shoulders above anyone else.
Bluedell 6,075
Lafferty: 4 Not even a shadow of the player I saw glimpses of last year. Absolutely abysmal. Was Lafferty really that bad? I didn't see all the game as I was working but he looked OK in the bits that I saw.
Gazza_8 233
I thought Lafferty was better than a 4 but certainly no higher than a 5.
Frankie 8,890
Thought Lafferty was pretty poor but wasn't helped by a lack of decent service. He disappeared in the 2nd half completely and we improved markedly with the addition of Naismith and Little up front as Novo was also poor.
