Gazza_8 233
I'd add Schwarzer and Given to that list.
Danny 0
Who are the 9-10 keepers better? Not saying there's not, but it would take some thinking. Van der Sar Cech? (questionable how good he is these days) Friedel Reina Van De Sar, Jaskelainen, Freidel, Reina, Given, Almunia, Gordon (if I am totally honest), Howard. McGregor is in the top 10 but the lower reaches of it. If we're going in order... Given Friedel Jaskelainen Reina Van De Sar Howard Almunia Gordon McGregor Cech is abysmal these days and wouldn't be in the top 10.
Danny 0
I'd add Schwarzer and Given to that list. Forgot Schwarzer.

Danny 0
Howard and Almunia? They wouldn't be in my top 20. It is all quite subjective, I agree. I stand by Howard although I might replace Almunia with Schwarzer.
craig 5,199
Fuck me, Almunia ? You gotta be kidding. Guy is a bombscare. Routinely costs Arsenal points. I will give you that it is subjective though
Super_Ally 0
Howard, Almunia, Gordon and even Jaaskelainen are debatable. The latter trading on past performances I think. My list was just to get us started. Gordon does not appear to be at the level he was at when he left Hearts, though can often still pull it out for Scotland. Nip and tuck between the two and you could make the case for either.
Dr Preston Burke 0
If Gordon was worth £9 million, McGregor is easily worth the same. Don't let the fact we are skint dumb down his real value.

Totally agree. To sell for 4M would have been a travesty. As good as Alexander is, I'd be gutted to lose the Scottish John Terry
