maineflyer 0 Posted January 30, 2010 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Aye, but even if we had money to spend,I think this window is terrible for all clubs.For me you should sign players at the start of the season and stick with them,or players allowed to move given certain dispensation for special cases I can't see the need for or point of transfer windows. How did we manage for over a century without them? I just do not see what he would bring that we already do not have, unless he is or would be a direct replacement for Lafferty. . Have to agree, although I'd point out that someone like Kenny Miller has multiplied his scoring rate by a factor of 2 to 3 since coming back to Ibrox when compared to his poorer years. I'm not saying that this Swedish lad can do that though and I do agree that it's hard to see what he could bring that we actually need. Difficult to tell from youtube clips though. In a couple his 2nd touch was a tackle and some of his goals werent cleanly struck. I wouldnt mind having him in for an additional body but I doubt he would see much 1st team football, at least not this season. We need a creative midfielder more than we need another striker.
