chilledbear 16
Dundee have signed Rangers youngster Andrew Shinnie for a second time on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old Aberdeen-born player made 20 appearances for Dundee last season after joining Jocky Scott's side in November 2008. Midfielder Shinnie, who has made two first-team starts for Rangers, is a former captain of the Ibrox club's Under-19 side. Shinnie has won two caps for Scotland at under-21 level, scoring once. Best thing for the lad, too many players going for the same position.
Frankie 8,830
Yeah, unfortunately it seems the lad won't make it at Rangers but Dundee seem keen on him and with them likely to win the First Division, Shinnie could have regular SPL football next season if he signs permanently.
andy steel 0
<doubtful? I guess so...was it Efrem, the Cypriot, who went to Dundee last season, scored some goals, set up a lot and was generally considered about their best player - and nothing at all came of it? I know the management see the players daily, and must have their views of them based on stuff we know nothing of, but if we don't consider a successful period out on loan to mean anything, what's the point?
Frankie 8,830
That's true Andy but I think Efrem wanted to leave Scotland...
