Sasa and his rampaging runs

It's a joy to behold at times when the big man ventures forward! I never did quite understand all the stick he got for supposedly offering nothing as an attacking threat; he's certainly making a lot of people eat their words this season. Not exactly Hutton-esque just yet but Michael Ball certainly could've learnt a few things from the Papac

Yeah, one exciting feature of our play is when our full backs get forward, and when they do, that's when we cause opposition teams genuine problems with the variety of threat we have. When they don't is when he struggle so hopefully we'll see more of Papac in the opposing team's box this season and beyond!

It's also very entertaining for the fans at a time when many are moaning about the boring football and so should definitely be encouraged as long as it's not at the expense of good defending.

It's always great to see a player beat a man or two and it doesn't happen enough these days and it makes you misty eyed for the days of Laudrup and Gascoigne.

Sadly that standard of player is now behind a closed door for us. However, players like Davis, Novo, Beasley, Whittaker and now it seems Papac, have done it before and should still be able to do it reasonably often.

I know we hear a lot from WS detractors that he ruins players careers but in his 2nd stint here WS has brought out the best in a few too, none more so than big Papac. At the start of his Gers career he looked very shaky indeed but since moving to LB and under WS' stewardship he really has become one of the cornerstones of our team.

Very dependable, very solid, good positional sense and now we are also seeing the attacking side of him - only a great save from Cerny last night stopped a mazy run from halfway from ending up in the net.

Keep up the good work big man :D

smiths biggest failing im afraid craig. he gets the best out of very few and our overall form in his second stint is testament to that.
