wabashcannonball 0
Our financial problems are well documented, even if the documentation often contradicts, however we are far from being the worst or anywhere near it. Recent revelations have revealed the extraordinary amount of debt accrued to the EPL, now almost £4 billion, a veritable house of cards. Man. U. Chelsea and Liverpool tell the real story, Man. U. in particular perhaps our very own in house carpetbagger is a mere apprentice. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1243042/Manchester-United-finance-shock-Have-Glazers-Red-Devils-road-meltdown.html
Bluedell 5,886
The level of other club's debts isn't really that relevant to us. If a Liverpool have got debts of, say £200m, but have a facility of £300m then they have a lot more manoeuvrability than we do. Most of these clubs also don't have a business plan imposed on them by the bank that puts massive restictions on what they can and can't do. However, saying that, long term, it doesn't look too pretty for these clubs and they may need some sort of sugar daddy to help them out.
pete 2,511
Chelsea have a sugar daddy but only gives out interest free loans that have to be paid back within 18 months of asking. They are also 700 million in debt. The EPL looks like a pack of cards tower that is starting to sway.

Personally, I'll be gloating intensively as the precious, over-hyped cards start to fall. Fat cats gather no sympathy.
Super_Ally 0
I think i'd be quite happy about it too if that scenario came to fruition.
