ian1964 10,720
Funny how Steven Naismith won more balls in the air in the time he was on than lafferty did. Just proves to me what i have always said, good timing is better than a few extra inches. Aye,so your wife tells us

Danny 0
2 excellent displays now from him in a row - he seems to be playing in a free roaming left wing position with full licence to cut in. And the results are staggering - previously he had no conviction, composure or confidence while now he looks happy and he's far more in control of play. He made the first goal with sheer class yesterday. I don't see anyone saying 'Laugherty' now...

We've actually got quite a number of players that thrive on confidence and perform poorly if they're lacking it. Miller & Naismith are in that category as well.
Bluedell 5,601
He really needs to work on his jumping though. Still poor.
Super_Ally 0
I think excellent is going a bit far. Because he has been so poor people have tended to overplay his recent performances. He played decently when he came on though and I'll be looking for more of the same. Perhaps now that the first choice strike pair are available there is not much responsibility on him and it has reduced the pressure on him allowing him to perform.

I'd rather people overplay his displays than call him stupid names and ask for him to depart Ibrox. Agree though that less pressure is equalling much better performances.

craig 5,199
I don't see anyone saying 'Laugherty' now... Because of two decent performances ? Premature. Not that I ever called him such but I am pretty sure that 2 decent games in what has still been a piss-poor season for him (thus far) won't have the detractors refraining from suggesting he is a laughing stock.
