Super_Ally 0 Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 It's quite simple.At 26 when he joined Celtc, the martian had played 227 games and scored 97 goals at club level. He had scored 7 goals at International level the same as Boyd. As a goalscorer Boyd has a much superior record. Further as Boyd's best years have yet to come and as he is now showing the maturity and work rate that is seeing him develop his goalscoring gift, Boyd may go onto break an awful lot of records. Not suggesting Boyd is a better player (he is a better goalscorer though :spl:) but it's food for thought.
