One thing we need to be mindful of is that IF WS goes 4-5-1 with Boyd up top then we shouldnt be lambasting Boyd IF he doesnt score

Boyd was making a reasonable contribution before having to come off injured last time. Well he assisted one of Miller's strikes.

However, with his natural goal-scoring prowess and his record against Celtic, he has to start scoring against them or the growing discontent will rumble on.

I agree with you, but realistically many fans will not have the sense (is patience a better word actually?) to see it that way.

Yep S_A, that is my concern - if he doesnt score then the detractors will be on his back again despite the obvious vast improvements in his game all round )aside from scoring as I dont see how he could be better at that anyway)

Boyd to score and give it the Larsson celebration as the inbreds jump from the top tier.

Also a nice wee bit of bheast on bheast fighting after Lafferty makes it 5 against 8-man Celtic as the time-honoured timplosion spreads to the stands.
