Bougherra out of Old Firm clash

Unfortunately I worry that sans Bougherra Walter will be more inclined to go for Broadfoot/McCulloch and Weir as opposed to Wilson now that Edu and Thomson are likely to be the central midfield pairing going forward.

Aye, Broadfoot may well get played centrally when Bougherra leaves, but I hope McCulloch isn't played there ahead of Wilson. That would be a poor show.

I can't see it myself. I have a suspicion that the reason Wilson was dropped recently is two-fold.

 

1. Get Bougherra in, get him in the shop window prior to the ANC.

2. To give Wilson a rest so that he can come in and replace Bougherra when he is off to the ANC

I agree with that to be honest but one can never tell with Walter.

 

As Zappa also says, I'd be surprised and disappointed if Wilson falls behind Broadfoot and McCulloch in a general sense.

If you were not referring to violence then how can Coisty attest that this is true "stookie and all"? Please explain what Souness was doing as I can't make head nor tail of your post.
