My mug in front of me confidently cites the dictionary definition of "fitba'"

fitba'

(fit-baw) Dialect, chiefly Scot. ~n.

1. (m) the beautiful game.

2. (f) stupid game involving 22 grown men (and 3 officials of dubious parentage and eyesight) kicking a lump of leather around a field, often sparking irrational behaviour, bad language and blind devotion to a team or players, to the detrement of normal marital realtions.

(see fitba' widow)

That's it then, the Weegie wins.:)

Hey cal, does your mug really spell "relations" as "realtions" ? ;)

Further, will you be taking out your indelible marker and scoring out "3" officals and replacing with either "5" or "too many" ? :D

So my 180 mph 'blade is less manly than a 40 mph Vespa? A Vespa is just a poser's moped, and mopeds are for girls. ;-)

Never understood the attraction of Vespas, Lambrettas or parkas. Bit like the male obsession with cardies these days. So many blokes on telly look like a right pansy in their granny garb. How men can fall for silly stuff like that because the fashion industry want to sell them something they probably didn't already have, I'll never know.

Lot's of people look back at photographs of themselves in the 60's and cringe at what they are wearing, I can imagine that will happen for many in the future when they look back at their collection of digital photographs for this decade...
