Sky Sports News has had conformation that Scottish Champions Rangers have called a press conference at Murray Park the training ground of the Scottish giants.

Sky Sports sources understand that a consortium has bought and will take control of the club with immediate effect. This would be a welcome change for the Rangers fans who have wanted to see a change at the top of their club for a number of years now. Sir David Murray stood down as Chairman and member of the board a few months ago and was replaced by Alastair Johnstone who's first priority for the club was finding a new buyer that had the best interests of Glasgow Rangers Football Club at heart.
