I would point out, though, that despite the wearisome line trotted out that Murray Park has failed to come up with anything so far, we have a goalie (slightly, I know McGregor was loaned out as well), a RB in Little plus Hutton, a LB in Smith, a CB in Wilson, and a forward in Fleck. That's nearly half a team: if we can do that when it's NOT been a time to use young players, we ought to be nicely placed when it is.

 

The other issue being that many people mistakenly think it's a youth production facility when that is just one of it's uses. It has been more than worth it in terms of it being a place for the staff to work day in day out in top class facilities. Another way of attracting new players along with Ibrox and the size of the club etc etc.

I wouldnt shit in the idea of OMOV but how many large investors would you expect to pump in, say, 5 million, if their vote counted in exactly the same way as the next guy with 500 invested ?

 

The Barca model works as we all know, but part of the reason it works is because it was created from a position of relatve strength.

 

I dont believe we are financially strong enough to turn away a 10 million investor who wants more of a say than someone who is investing 1,000.

 

The reality and the financial need right now should probably dictate the model we use but hopefully with emphasis on changing that once we rid ourselves of the bankers

 

Craig not every big investor would want to be involved in the daily running of the club as long as they know their money is being used to the best use and benefit to the club.

Someone mentioned that people will lose interest by paying and having nothing to show for it. That is why i feel Rangers tv,Rangers world and e-mail newsletters must be part of the perks offered to members. I really feel the cost of giving these things free to members would far outweigh any money made by charging it as an extra.
