Rae was among those tipped to be leaving shortly, but Le Guen revealed he is a fan of the Scotland international. "Gavin Rae is important for the squad and perhaps also for the team," he said. "He did not play in the last two seasons so we have to be patient with him. "Gavin is a very good guy, but even if he doesn't play for the moment, I appreciate his work.
