calscot 0
To me the guy is late without contacting the club to say why which is bad but he may have a reasonable explanation for all we know. He may have made a decent apology too. He's been punished by being dropped and for all we know he could also have been fined. It's also likely he's been given a warning. How much punsihment is enough - especially when he's your most talented player and is really needed in a threadbare squad? I don't see anything wrong with playing him in the next game even if it is the CL especially as we'll be a more ordinary team without him - and have to play more players out of position. If he does it again, or something equivalent, then that's a different matter. There's no need to be draconian for every single offence.
Super_Ally 0
Perhaps that would be reason for a lesser punishment than BF/AM? It's a first offence.
Cotter 0
Wee quote from WS in the Herald today. Leaning towards the piss taking angle after reading it.... “He didn’t arrive back until last night (Friday) at 11pm,” said the Rangers manager. “When I speak to him I will be able to update you. I’d actually be quite pleased if I could update myself. “It is a little bit of a problem. I’ll need to find out what the problem is. I’ll wait and see. He may be ill. I don’t know. “We couldn’t get in contact with him,” he added sarcastically. “Strange that, isn’t it? Normally you are able to phone people up but obviously there is a problem with the phone lines.” Fine him but play him I say.
andy steel 0
You'd struggle to phone me, my moby is permanently out of charge/credit. Maybe he's just absent minded, who knows? If they introduce a category in the 2014 Olympics for Mountain Making out of Molehills, Scotland can rest assured of one gold, at least, to mark the by-then Workers' Socialist Republic's sporting debut on the world stage.
Cotter 0
You come back late, you get fined. That's the way it goes. No molehill expansion needed.
alexscottislegend 2,302
Totally unfair to compare this to Cuellar, who never acted in anything other than in a professional manner while he was at the club. I meant that one minute he was saying how much he loved the club, was wanting to stay, then the next he's offski. Ok, may not totally have been his doing, but I wonder if he's now regetting his move to Villa - he doesn't always play.
