IRA fan hit with 3-year football ban

A CELTIC fan who waved an IRA flag at Ibrox was yesterday fined �£500 and banned from football for three years.

 

Yob Aaron Laing, 21, committed the offence while he was dating a niece of then Hoops manager Gordon Strachan.

Utter scum, cant believe he is thinking of appealing the sentence, he should keep his mouth shut and accept his punishment.

Apparently he is a poster on one of the Celtic forums, keeping them all up to date on what's happening etc

 

That was part of his downfall. In the papers he was saying he found the banner at the ground, but on the huddleboard he was giving it the "It was my banner and I stand by it". That was merely one of a number of contradictions which ultimately led to him getting nailed in court. I blame the schools :D
