biggordy 0
We are in the Champions' League. This is the opening week in what is probably the biggest and most lucrative football competition in the world. Football Headlines--Back pages--Evening Times " First Naka, Now Naga " Shelik look to make another Japanese signing. or am I just being crabbit ? Can we keep this thread going to enable all such sightings to be noted ?
Norris Cole 0
The mhedia black-out begins. It's a painful week for them. I have a feeling the Europa League will take on an inflated significance this season.

Read elsewhere that the Mirror has run a Robbie Keane to ra sellik in January story this morning. biggordy 0
Tonight's STV managed 10 seconds mentioning the champions but only on the back of an interview with Hinkel. They even managed to show footage of Larsson scoring against Hapoel about 50 years ago as well.
andy steel 0
It must be tempting, what with the signing drought that we are in, for newspapers to overdo it a bit when anyone is linked with anyone. It's a lot harder to see why STV, who should want to push their no doubt dismal highlights programme, would want to alienate their audience. Outright denseness and fudicity would appear to be front runners atm.
fraser54 0
Tonight's STV managed 10 seconds mentioning the champions but only on the back of an interview with Hinkel. They even managed to show footage of Larsson scoring against Hapoel about 50 years ago as well. In that 10 seconds it was Hinkel talking about how Stuttgart must win the game and brung the news that Hleb was struggling. Wonder if it will be different tonight, bet you it will be all about Hapoel
pete 2,499
The Record have a story of How Elia is going to punish the tims when Hamburg play them, tomorrow? No on October 22. You can't say the record are selling yesterdays news.
