pete 2,499 Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 Marcin Wasilewski the Polish defender who plays RSC Anderlecht was injured in a nasty clash with Axel Witsel of Standard Liege on Sunday, he suffered a double break of the right leg and will be out for a long time, if indeed he can recover and resume his career after this. It was made worse when Standard players stated it was a payback for a tackle by Wasilewski on Witsel last season. One player said he deserved it because Wasilewski had caused more than his fair share of injuries himself in the past. Many sponsors have walked away from the club stating they will not support the club as long as Witsel remains a player there.
