Gribz 846
How long will he be out for? He will be a key player for us when he returns IMO. Anyone know if he can cover at CB?
fraser54 0
Yes he can play centre back, but personally i would put Big Lee in central defence if needed. We will have Broadfoot and we also have Papac !
Zappa 0
The club were saying in July that he'd be back from injury in September, but that doesn't mean back to the first team necessarily. We're maybe looking at another 6 to 8 weeks before he's being brought back into the first team, but that's pure speculation.
Gazza_8 233
I've never known Edu to be able to play CB. It's to much of a risk to try him in there when he hasn't played there before for us. I find it baffling that anyone would want him to play there without him being tested first.

Some of the best inventions in the world have been invented through necessity. if we have got to do it we have to do it. Only the heading department would worry me, his defensive skills have looked good to me. He is strong and reasonably fast. I would have no problems with him slotting in at the back.

pete 2,499
But you're a crazy Dutch bastard Pete. They thought Galaleo was crazy until he proved every one wrong.

Apparently he's played CB for the USA, but I don't know if he got a start in that position or if he was forced to slot in there in an emergency.
