Celtic fury at Arsenal starâ��s penalty dive Furious Celtic players last night urged UEFA to ban Eduardo after the Croat clearly dived for the penalty that put Arsenal on course for the Champions League group stages. Arsenalâ��s 3-1 victory guaranteed a �£26million windfall but was marred by controversy when Eduardo, making his second start of the season for Arsenal, tumbled to the ground under a nonexistent challenge by Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc in the 28th minute. His acrobatics were good enough to fool badly positioned Spanish referee Manuel Mejuto Gonzalez, who pointed to the spot despite Celticâ��s angry protests. Eduardo scored from the spot to open the scoring. In all seriousness it was an utter disgrace and if that happened against us well you can imagine the inner fury.
