DANIEL Cousin's future looks far from assured after being dropped from the Hull City side which beat Bolton.

The 32-year-old was not even in the 18-man squad at the weekend following his refusal to shake Phil Brown's hand when substituted early in the 5-1 defeat to Spurs last week.

It is understood City are ready to listen to offers for Cousin and would not stand in the way of him leaving before the end of the transfer window.

Asked if Cousin remained in his plans, Brown said: "That's up to him. He refused to shake my hand on Wednesday but that's his prerogative.

"I told him it wasn't me that got him subbed, it was the players for not sticking to a game-plan."

When will players in this country realise that the grass isn't always greener in the Premiership when you discount the wageslip?

Success stories are few and far between..

After Gattuso and Gio it becomes very hard to think of any.

There's more to life than money.
