craig 5,199
They're definitely on par Craig, but neither are worth £24m. No way. That is my point Shroomz I rate Bougherra as good as Lescott Ian, - kidding !!
Norris Cole 0
Iam biased... but if Lescott is worth 24 mill, Boogie is worth 24 mill Having watched Lescott a half dozen times last season, there's nothing he has that Bougherra doesn't. That's me falling for the Premiershite hype that is.
ian1964 10,761
The very fact that Lescott is an EPL player increases his value over Bougherra
craig 5,199
The very fact that Lescott is an EPL player increases his value over Bougherra I agree Ian, but it certainly doesnt make him a better player.
ian1964 10,761
I agree Ian, but it certainly doesnt make him a better player. Agreed,I don't think he is better than Bougherra

ian1964 10,761
Phew, we got there in the end I wasn't disagreeing with you, actually I was agreeing, just being sarcastic regarding EPL players and their worth
craig 5,199
Part of the problem too is that we have sen players leave the SPL for big money in the past few seasons and they havent done particularly well. Boumsong and Cuellar come to mind (although in Cuellar's defence it took him a while to get a game and then he was played at RB.....). So there is a hesitancy for English teams to pa ybig money for players playing in Scotland - which is why I am so sceptical about these supposed fees for McGeady & Brown.
Jon 0
I've seen Lescott since he broke into the Wolves team and he is an outstanding player with a far better than average goal return for a CB. That plus the fact he is in the EPL with there sill prices will make him more valuable and priced more than Boogie. Basing your judgement on a few games, a season or even a couple does not reflect how good a player he has been and is IMO.
juffery 0
The fact that it's Man City that are interested pushes his price up. Everton know what money they have and know that they'll get well over what he's worth. Fair play to them.
