A CELTIC win against Arsenal and either Lyon or Panathinaikos losing, would put Rangers into Pot 2 of the main Champions League draw.

personally i think us getting 2mill in TV rights far outweighs any advantage of getting into pot 2. All pool games will be massive no matter which pot we are in.

Been discussed ad nauseum on here already pete, but you were on holiday at the time.

 

It is true o an extent. If Sporting lose then they are also ranked above us.However, if Arsenal win and both Sporting and Pana lose (they have Fiorentina and Atletico Madrid so every chance of it) then we still make pot 2.

 

I would rather Sporting and Pana lose than Arsenal plus one of them.

 

And I would rather Celtic lose no matter what. As Frankie says, the additional 2+ mill is far more important to us than getting into pot 2. There will be NO easy games anyway, the CL is a very welcome financial bonus but we wont win it so it is no more than that.

 

Get Celtic punted. And hope Fiorentina & Atletico win. That would be the perfect combination.
