Super_Ally 0
Looking at that I don't think we have enough quality in the middle of the park to go 4-3-3. Pack the midfield, safety in numbers. Ps. Thomson is also out tomorrow is he not? Papac and Lafferty suspended. Whittaker---Bougherra---Weir------Smith Davis------McCulloch-------Fleck Miller--------Boyd-------Naismith Ps. Thomson is also out tomorrow is he not? AFAIK he's just not ready for a full 90mins yet. Although with Mendes out he might be given more of the game than was expected.
Super_Ally 0
Don't fancy that midfield against 4/5 Falkirk players in the midfield. We've been over run enough with a 4 man midfield in the past. And that was a midfield of higher quality.

True, but between Whittaker, Smith, Miller and Naismith I would have though we'd have enough cover on the wings, leaving the 3 midfielders to play a more central role.

Should still have too much for Falkirk. I just don't like the look of it.
johnnyk 158
It's not a good enough squad defensive wise. What if 39 year old Weir gets an injury early in the game? McCulloch would then go there I take it but who goes in midfield? Fingers crossed it doesn't but it's not a great squad IMO.........
UCF2008 0
...Basically the same team selection can operate as a 4-5-1 if the need arises, but we're at home to Falkirk, so I don't think a 4-5-1 would go down too well with the support.
