Rangers agree £200,000 fee to sell Alan Gow

Recommended Posts

ALAN GOW could be the next player to head out of Rangers this summer after the Ibrox club today agreed a fee of around £200,000 with Plymouth Argyle for the midfielder.

The former Falkirk player has endured a tortuous two-year spell at Gers where he failed to make the first-team breakthrough and started only two cup ties against lower-league opposition.

Last season Gow saw a proposed move to Wolves fall through after he failed a medical while he also failed to agree personal terms on a move to Burnley.

For the sake of £200,000 are we worth keeping a squad player?

Wont buy anyone with that money.

Will probably barely pay the interest on debts.

Gow's wages are likely quite low.

Squad size is tiny.

But I guess if he's unlikely to get any game time may as well save on the wages.

Clearly his face doesn't fit. There must be more to miss than meets the eye. 200k is better than a kick inn the balls

another one who had a bust up with McCoist and has paid the penalty. I hear that he lifted his hand to our assistant manager and was told he would never pull on a Rangers jersey again.

Also heard a good while back that Mr Mccoist isnt very popular with the players. seems he has an attitude that leaves a lot to be desired himself. I heard this within a few months of his arrival as assistant manager and thought nothing of it.
