I havent seent hat lot yet johnny but even though we lost two scrappy goals we have played some fantastic stuff and, IMO, have played City off the pitch for long spells !

Boyd is so immobile..... Jon will be glad to have seen him play tonight.....

we all know boyd needs the ball to his feet or head, if you don't play a system to suit him there's no point in playing him......

Agreed.

But he got a ball over the top there and he was so immobile the CB beat him to the ball comfortably.

he's not got much pace has he.......

did you see him run there lol

He will never, ever be the right player for a 4-5-1 formation as he isnt mobile enough.

Hardly any pace at all. It is lucky he is as predatory as he is because if he weren't he would struggle to be paid for playing.

BTW..... Not making this into an anti-Boyd thread. But if we play the 4-5-1/4-3-3 then Boyd really becomes just a squad player.

If we play 4-4-2 he would be the 1st striker on my team sheet
