We're coming top in an AFC fans hatred poll

Recommended Posts

Well well well, we're coming top in a current hatred poll that I spotted on a AFC forum. I know, I know it doesn't come as a surprise coming from that lot, but it was the sheer (no pun intended) number of votes out of the first 100 that stunned me. It actually made me think that maybe that particular AFC forum is either predominantly of the 40 shades of green persuasion or that they really have the worst case of non-religious inbred hatred in Scottish football.

People have tried to tell me this about the AFC fans before & I've seen it mentioned on RFC forums many many times, but I had to see it with my own eyes to believe that it wasn't just twisted & nasty footy banter that they spew out from the stands on match days against us; something which football fans all over the world are prone to doing. Well, It does indeed seem that I should have believed what I was reading & being told about this flock of hateful choochters all along. I'm not sure if choochter is the right word for these people or if people is the right word either, but choochter somehow seems appropriate given their inability to use the English language & their disturbing fondness & love of sheep.

There's something that you just can't help thinking about these particular football fans: What on earth possesses them to be proud of being lovers of sheep, proud of being called sheep sh*ggers etc. They're certainly not all or even remotely predominantly sheep farmers who actually indulge in acts of beastiality with their prettiest ewes, so it must be something else that provokes their sense of pride in something so utterly foul. Maybe there's something in the water? Could it perhaps even be oil & chemical polluted North Sea fish? There simply must be an explanation for their mindset, for their pride in inhumane feelings towards these furry four-legged animals. If someone actually knows the truth about this, please let me know.

Something else that you just can't help thinking about is why on earth we actually bother to call them anything related to their sick love of sheep, when they're proud of it. Why do we indulge them? If these people are so proud of being called all manner of things related to sheep & the loving of sheep that they gladly call themselves by the same names, then what exactly is the point? It seems to me that it's certainly not hurting their feelings in any way. I remember times when Ibrox has been littered with Gers fans waving blow-up sheep in the air in attempt to mock the AFC fans, but I'm wondering if that was even remotely bothering them or if it was actually just making the sheep wielding Gers fans look a bit daft for putting money in the pockets of the suspicious street traders outside Ibrox.

I find myself in a situation where I don't really understand many of these things. I don't understand the AFC fans hatred of the Gers (or the Huns as we're known to them). I don't understand the AFC fans pride in being lovers of sheep & associated with acts of beastiality with sheep & I don't understand our own perpetuation of mocking and name calling the AFC fans with material & subjects that they're apparently proud of. Can anybody help clear these matters up?

Remember, Aberdeen are second in Mark McGhee's poll of clubs to manage.

:D :D

I can sense a TBO banner along those lines in a few months. That should put their gas at a peep.

Whit like?! :box:

Is that the most appalling use of English in the history of the internet?

Are we even sure they are asking what we think they are asking?

What is an Aberdonian asking if he says:

Fit fit fits fit fit?

S_A, 'Fa Div Yi Hate The Most' is actually quite understandable compared to a lot of their patter. Most of it makes no sense whatsoever. You have to read their messed up language phonetically then try to figure out what the hell they're on about.

If that's a good effort for them communicating with the rest of the country they're doomed.

I remember being up there for an interview in January and needing to get a taxi from the train station. Started off alright but when he realised I too was a Scot (it's not immediately obvious) at least I assume that's the reason, the accent went OTT. Got to the point that when he said nothing I mumbled agreement and hoped I wasn't offending the guy. Some of them really talk pish. :P

And my older brother who'd hardly been back in Scotland in a decade or 2 just started a job up there. :giruy:

Anyways, back on topic. :o
